Pilots of the United States Navy
Well folks, here is my latest piece of art glass. I have taken the Naval Aviator Wing and changed the background to Navy Blue to represent pilots of the United States Navy. The past representation was with a red background for the United States Marine Corps pilots. The Marine Corps is a branch of the Navy, thus both receive Naval Aviator Wings when they qualify to fly for our Armed Forces.
This piece of art was commissioned by a dear friend from Jacksonville, Florida whose grandson and wife are both Navy pilots. He flies the F-18 Hornet and his wife flies a naval helicopter. I hope they enjoy this gift from their grandmother.
